There are two kinds of people in this world – the givers and the takers. It will be difficult to get the proportions of them, and as far as I am concerned, it does not matter, but I know this much for sure: our 100+ teachers are the givers in many ways. They provide the most immaculate service to the disadvantaged children, and with nominal salary. The attitude of service they exude is unmatched, and this is based on my many years of experience with organizations and employees.

The success of DoPeace is mostly based on our compassionate and dedicated teachers, and it was seen time and again over the last five years. They are the embodiment of who we are and how we serve.

We never forget who our clients are – they are the poor and poorest of the poor children who would otherwise be unlikely to go to school. They are the neglected ones coming from households where education is far from the priority. We, however, believe that, given the opportunity, they will succeed like any other children. We already see this happen and notice the changes that are taking place in their mindset.

I have come to the end of my 11th visit to Bangladesh. I am quite proud of what the DoPeace educational system and the hard working personnel were able to accomplish.

I wish to leverage the model now firmly established in Bangladesh to other slums and help educate many more.

I offer my gratitude to all my students and their guardians, teachers, supervisors, Executive Directors, and DoPeace staff for their kindness and curtesy offered to me during my visit. May you all continue the mission we have embarked upon with the same unmatched enthusiasm and compassion. I wish all of you good health, happiness, and great success.
