Job is getting paid for the hours you work to the satisfaction of the employer, but commitment is an entirely different concept. Those who understanding the difference and internalize that, live in a higher state of mind.

Commitment is working for a vision or a mission, and translates into the ownership of the tasks required – ensuring that the tasks are done for the mission to succeed. Commitment is working for advancing the collective vision for an outfit you work for.

Commitment is so rare that employers simply settle for workers who can do a job well, and are mostly unable to find people who will have commitment for their mission, as It is widely expected that only the owners will have the commitment.

It is proven over a period of several years that the teachers of DoPeace are not the run of the mill workers doing conventional jobs. They are committed to the vision and the mission of educating the poorest of the poor children in the slums.

They make sure that the children do not miss the class by going to their homes; they take the time to make sure that each child understands the subject matter; they talk to their parents on issues related to their child; and above all they shower them with the love and affection that is unprecedented.

This kind of commitment has generated results that is generally difficult to achieve in a normal preschool. It is slated that the skill level of our preschool graduates in Saidpur and Rangpur is equal to the 2nd grade primary school students, although I need to verify that to be sure.
