As a non-profit organization
There needs to be some clarity about it, particularly at this time of an unprecedented crisis stemming from the outrageous ethnic cleansing and genocide of the Rohingya Muslim minority in Myanmar.
DoPeace is actively sending poorest of the poor children to schools in the slums of Bangladesh for the last three years. We have 10,000 children in our school system every year.
Our one-room schools-we call them Learning Centers-are located right within the slum communities, so the pre-school children under six years of age can simply walk in a few minutes into the Learning Centers.
After one year of preparation, we take the children and admit them into the primary schools into grade one. We make sure that they do not drop out and continue their education up to grade five. To achieve this we provide after-school coaching to students from grade one to grade five.
We have produced incredible results and thousands of our children are continuing their studies.
We have partnered with seven local NGOs with deep knowledge of the slum locations in Bangladesh in Dhaka, Saidpur, Rangpur, and Chittagong.
Our NGO in Chittagong, called ISDE, has offices in Cox's Bazar, in the vicinity of which about 500,000 Rohingya refugees are holding on to their lives.
We have decided to intervene and provide food and emergency supplies as we had boots on the ground and good knowledge of the area. DoPeace has never provided relief work before, but our mission is to work with the poorest of the poor small children, and we felt that this was not deviating much.
It was quite logical that before we can establish schools within the Rohingya community, we must help them to survive.
We could not be silent spectators while we are providing educational services to the children in the slums close by.
Last week we have supplied cooked food to 1800 households. Next week we are targeting mothers with small babies and will provide food to them by house calls. We are learning quite a bit as we move forward.
We are a small non-profit organization, without any endowments or support of large organizations or even wealthy individuals. We are relying on you to come forward and help us to save children. We are driven to protect them at these dark hours of the most violent human rights abuses.
We trust the benevolence of people like you. We believe in the goodness of people and we are quite convinced that you will rise to the occasion. Please click the link dopeace.org/donate.html and donate to save the children. Please fulfill your obligations. Please do not neglect.

An Organization You Can Trust
DoPeace.org Developed a low cost, effective and rapid implementation preK - 5th grade STEM educational model, using cutting edge-technology and optimum use of resources. We passionately believes that this model is an instrument to provide education to the children in the slums around the world. The present cost is $1/month/child based on 10,000 children now going to schools in Bangladesh.
